Le commutateur Vertex V1 est le tout premier produit de commutation conçu par Vertex. L'idée originale était de concevoir quelque chose qui est traditionnellement de style MX mais quelque peu différent des commutateurs Cherry.
L'interrupteur V1 est composé de POM et de PA66, deux matériaux traditionnellement utilisés dans la fabrication d'interrupteurs. Cependant, le matériau POM et PA66 utilisé sur le commutateur V1 est modifié, ce qui signifie que leur composition est totalement différente du matériau POM et PA66 que nous avions vu sur les commutateurs précédents.
Vertex a utilisé le nouveau moule de Jwick pour augmenter la précision, la douceur et réduire l'oscillation de la tige, utilise un traitement de surface par pulvérisation ponctuelle comme méthode de lubrification d'usine pour le rendre plus précis.
Des options lubrifiées et non lubrifiées en usine sont disponibles. Si vous souhaitez lubrifier vous-même l'interrupteur, vous pouvez choisir la version non lubrifiée.
Compatibilité : les commutateurs sont conçus avec une structure MX générale afin qu'ils puissent s'adapter à la plupart des ensembles de touches avec tige transversale (X). Cela améliore grandement la compatibilité et vous pouvez vous sentir libre de changer le commutateur et de refaire votre propre clavier.
